Prices and Payment
All prices are in £ sterling and do no include VAT as we are not VAT registered. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. We accept payment by Paypal as the payment processor. We will accept a cheque with a bank card number on the back for purchases within the UK. We will not despatch the goods until the cheque has cleared the bank - this can take between 7 and 10 *working* days.
This does not include any taxes or duties when shipping to non EC countries. Please check with your country's customs office for further details.
We deliver worldwide. We will only accept orders from outside the UK if payment is by Worldpay . We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to despatch within two working days. Items ordered by Next Day Special Delivery will be sent out by the next possible postage time. Orders received after 2:30pm will be despatched the following day.
Please note - we are only able to deliver goods to the card holders billing address. We will not ship until the card payment has been "settled" - ie. the money has left your account and entered ours.
All items are sent by Recorded Delivery, however, if you wish your items to be *INSURED*, then you must select the Royal Mail Special Delivery postage option and pay the required charge. If you do not choose Royal Mail Special Delivery, then we cannot be held responsible for postal losses.
Damages/shortages must be notified to Porter Vintage within 48 hours of delivery. The charge for delivery will be shown at the checkout stage before final submission.
The delivery costs for the UK are as follows:
1st Class Recorded Delivery: £3.50 (For Items up to £39.00)
Royal Mail Special Delivery: £5.50 (For items from £40.00 up to £500.00)
The delivery costs for International (including Ireland and Europe) are as follows:
International Delivery Air Sure – tracked - insured
We will only ship by Airsure Please make sure to pay your International delivery charge. If you fail to select an International delivery option, your goods may be delayed whilst we request further money for the delivery charge.
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to the purchaser once they are delivered.
7 Day Returns Policy. If you would like to return your purchase for a refund please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org clearly stating your reason for returning your purchase, and your order number, which can be found on your invoice.
Goods may be returned to Porter Vintage up to 7 days after date of purchase for a full refund or exchange provided that:
1. The goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.
2. A valid receipt or proof of purchase is produced.
3. Items are returned by a tracked method, eg. Recorded Delivery / Special Delivery.
Delivery and collection charges are not refundable.
Refunds cannot be issued if:
1. Items are returned damaged.
2. Please retain your proof of postage for any returned items, as we cannot issue refunds for items lost or damaged in the post.
Please do not try to force yourself into an item that is too small, it may split the seams & tear, or try on clothes when smoking, eating, or wearing perfume, deodorant, or makeup, or let pets sit on them.
